We are currenty looking at the Gospel of Matthew and making our way through it. However, after the fist of the new year, we will be re-evaluating and will update then.

THE PSALMS (selected one)
King David appeared to regard the role of music and song as so important to the worship of God’s people that he himself composed numerous psalms for worship. It’s likely that under his leadership, the psalm (poetic verse accompanied by the music of a harp) became the background music for the offerings, sacrifices, and festivals of God’s people. One thousand years later, God’s New Testament people continued to use the psalms when they gathered for worship. Quotations from the psalms run throughout the entire New Testament, like a motif that adds drama and anticipation to a play or a film. The psalms prophesy the coming of Christ and support His ministry. They play on His lips as He breathes His final breath.
In the resurrection, Jesus tells His disciples, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms” (Luke 24:44).
Men of all ages are invited to join us as we dig into the Psalms looking a little closer over these wonderful words of our Lord. We meet at Old 29 Café, for breakfast and the Word. No need to buy breakfast come and just feast on the Word with fellow men of the congregation.

A Women’s Study - Wednesday Evenings
This study has come to and end, with a wonderful group of ladies. However, they are in the process of possibly picking something new to study after the first of the year. If you have a topic you would like to study and are willing to lead, please contact pastor.

A Closer Look at World Religions:
Have you ever wondered what people of other Religions believe about God, about the world around them, good & evil, the afterlife, etc. Maybe you even wondered what other Christians believe when it comes to things about salvation, faith, Jesus, sin, etc.
Well join us on Thursday mornings beginning April 11th - May 30th as we take a closer look at the Amish / Mennonite, Methodist, New Age / Universalist, Scientology, Jehovah's Witnesses, & Hinduism.
We will take our time each week looking closer at the various faiths, using God's Holy Word as our guide and to help us understand truth from falsehood.
