St. John Lutheran Church - Believe It! Live It! Share It!
To worship the God Triune, to encourage and serve each other, and to extend the Kingdom of God. To conduct weekly services for hearing the Word and participating with fellow believers in the Sacraments; to provide instruction for our youth and adults so we may continue to grow in our faith; to provide opportunities for Christian living to all who attend St. John, as well as our community.
What motivates a Christian to volunteer to help out with the ministry of the church?
With thankful hearts we appreciate all members who offer to help with duties to maintain our building & grounds, to serve on boards & committees, to accept the responsibility of chairperson or officer, to support those serving in a leadership position, to support our Christian education program of Sunday School, Jr Youth & Sr. Youth, etc.
To foster Christian fellowship and kindness
‘This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us
and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us
and His love is made complete in us.’
